The 30 second lead test

Lead was commonly in use in paints, stains as well as in plumbing, gutters and many other applications prior to 1978.

If you live in a historic home, it is a really good idea to know how to test for lead. In this video I show how to use the 3M lead test. It is an EPA approved home test that can tell you if you have lead contamination in seconds. It is easy to use and if you live in a historic home, it is a great idea to keep these testers on hand.
